Sofie Ramos – Motion Replaces Meaning

Opening Reception, May 19, 7pm
Open May 19–June 19, limited hours

FISK is pleased to announce a new chapter in their history as they present an exciting new art exhibition by Sofie Ramos in conjunction with Bad People. Going forth, both organizations are pleased to be teaming up together to bring exciting and fresh contemporary art to Los Angeles.

The first in the series of artists to be shown through FISK x Bad people is Sofie Ramos, a San Francisco-based artist. While her practice is multifaceted, her artistic voice is heard most prominently in her installation work. A master of consuming environments through the use of three dimensional materials, bright colors, and myriad abstract shapes, Ramos will be making her Los Angeles debut on May 19th with her show Motion Replaces Meaning.

FISK is a highly collaborative art and design studio, gallery, and publisher based in Portland, OR with a satellite gallery in Los Angeles.

BAD PEOPLE is a collective studio space and pop up shop in Los Angeles. When not hosting FISK artists, Bad People welcomes events and promotes community through art.
